Values and Principles

I aim in all of my work to encapsulate three core values:

  • Respect – for all: beneficiaries, staff, management, trustees – and funders, too.
  • Realism – see and understand what is there, not what we want to be there.
  • Vision - for the project, the organisation, the voluntary sector, but even more importantly, for the beneficiaries of charitable activity.

These are underpinned by:

Collaboration - I will always seek to draw on another's expertise where this is greater and will encourage and support collaboration wherever this is possible.

Commitment - I have a fundamental belief in the value of the voluntary sector and a determination to make it as effective as humanly possible

Confidentiality - all information obtained during work for you will be treated as confidential unless expressly agreed otherwise.
